Branding, not just logos

Branding examples by Fingerpaint Design/Matthew Carson, IIIFingerpaint Design does branding. When speaking of branding it’s not uncommon for people to mistake their logo as their “brand.” Often we hear companies say, “We just re-did our brand last year,” meaning, they just redesigned their logo. Your brand is bigger than a logo. The logo is only one piece of your branding strategy.

Branding is the foundation of marketing and is inseparable from business strategy. As such, a brand is a combination of attributes, communicated through a name, or a symbol, that influences a thought-process in the mind of an audience and creates value through tangible and intangible attributes, e.g., functional and emotional benefits. Therefore, those attributes compose the beliefs that the brand’s audience recalls when they think about the brand in its context.

Branding involves focusing resources on selected tangible and intangible attributes to differentiate the brand in an attractive, meaningful and compelling way for the targeted audience.

Print Design

Print examples by Fingerpaint Design/Matthew Carson, IIIPrint is a tool used to promote your brand messages directly to the recipient in a forceful and attractive way. Strong print design plays an essential role in creating an opportunity for a positive experience with your brand. At Fingerpaint Design, we work with you to create a unified approach to your marketing efforts by creating quality print design pieces that mesh with your online presence.

Some of the print pieces we’ve designed for clients include: corporate identity guides, brochures, advertisements, marketing collateral, trade show materials, posters, menus, direct mail, and B2B product packaging.
